Host A Rehearsal Dinner That Aligns With Your Style

Today, I’m talking about my own wedding with my husband Eli. Our anniversary is in just a few days on June 16th. We actually got married on 6/16/16 and this is the 16th episode, which was by total coincidence!

We had a really small wedding with about 45 guests on a small island north of Seattle called Camano Island. While we didn’t have any huge mistakes, there were definitely a few small hiccups, like forgetting decorations, distributing sheets and blankets to guests as they arrived, and we talk openly about things we would have done differently, like choosing a different location and style for the rehearsal dinner.

Just as a heads up, this is a very laid back conversation, which you’ll understand after you listen to the opening clip. It’s also the first time I’ve done an in-person recording, since most are done virtually, and unfortunately I ran into a major issue with my microphone, so the quality tappers off near the end, but Eli’s mic is still going strong. The advice was too good not to include, but I apologize in advance if it’s a little hard to hear.
