Wedding Tipping Etiquette

It might be a little faux pas to discuss money, but let’s face it, unless you’re in the wedding industry or you’ve planned a wedding before, knowing who and how much to tip is a big unknown. Most couples don’t want to offend their vendors, but they also aren’t comfortable asking about it, so today I’m tackling the question head on! These tips are based on what I’ve seen most over my last 5 years in the industry. I understand every couple’s budget differs, so I’m giving you common tipping ranges and alternatives to monetary tips that could fit any budget. Remember, tips aren’t required but they’re appreciated, and at the end of the day, it’s all about saying thank you to your vendors, which you can do in a lot of different ways!

If you want more help on this topics, there’s a YouTube video that goes along with is podcast episode that includes visual examples of floorplans, internal seating charts, escort card do’s and don’ts and more.
